I was at the farmer’s market this morning and met a very talented photographer (hi! Sarka!) and she mentioned that she was taking her extraordinary photo talents to India in February. Of course I’m jealous of her trip and undoubtedly what will be an amazing experience. I marveled at her striking colorful photographs hung in her market stall. Crayola would be inspired to name new colors after the ones that appeared in her Moroccan and India pictures.
During our conversation, I showed her some pictures of Goa and Varanasi and thought, hey! I have photographs from my trips to India. And here they are. India, in so many ways, is unlike any other place on Earth. Stunning colors, shocking contrasts, divine monuments, and people whose faces match their hearts make up my India photo collection. I think it’s the most photograph-able place in the world.
